I live on the beautiful Canadian prairies with my dear husband of 22 years and 3 awesome teenagers.
I was raised in a strong Christian family but began to wander from the faith in my teens. I was never one to believe everything I was told and have learned most of life’s lessons the painful way. If someone told me not to touch something because it was hot, I was usually the first one to touch it!
I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for never leaving me through all those troubled years. He so graciously rescued me and returned me to the right path. As a child I was stubborn, but as I grow in grace and through the truth of God’s Word, that stubbornness is turning into steadfastness in my faith and walk with the Lord.
Will it cost us something in this life when we stand firmly on God’s Word? Definitely! Is it worth it? Absolutely!
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ (Philippians 3:8)
It is my sincere desire to encourage and fellowship with other like minded believers through this blog as we watch and wait for Jesus’ soon return.
In Christ Jesus, Coreen

I am enjoying your blog very much. Your compositions are well written, informative and heartfelt. May God bless you abundantly for allowing Him to work through you!
[Kim, It's nice to hear from you again and thank you for the kind words. All the glory belongs to the Lord for every aspect of this blog as He faithfully gives me the ideas of what to write about and then helps me put it all together. He really does work all things together for good in our lives when we fully put our trust in Him. (Romans 8:28) Blessings! Coreen]
Hi Coreen. I am a student at the Charles telfair Institure in Mauritius, a little island off the coast of Madagascar. At the moment I am working through a web publishing module and am searching for Christian Blogs and so this is how I stumbled across your page.
After reading your blog I really wanted to share this link with you… http://www.ctminetwork.org. Not for my assignment but its a link to Church Team Ministries International an organisation that is working with church leaders around the world to proclaim the message of the cross of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I met CTMI when I was back home in San Deigo during my time of service in the US Marines and it was really the message that saved my life and restored my relationship with Jesus. Anycase I dont want to bother you with my testimony but i really believe that you would be interested to visit this website and hear this message.
[Hi Tatiana, it never ceases to amaze me how the Lord leads us and I love how we, the body of Christ, share a closeness with each other in spite of never having met or living across the world from one another. You are not bothering me with your testimony. We all have our stories to tell of God's amazing grace in our lives and by sharing, we bless and encourage one another in our walk with the Lord. Thank you for the link to CTMI. I have looked over the site and read the article "One day we will give an account to God". As time permits, I will view more on the site. It's encouraging to know that in spite of all the strange teachings and doctrines being presented by many in the church, many others are speaking the truth of the gospel and people are being saved. I praise God for that! Coreen]
